Skippering and Helmsperson Coaching and Tuition

I have been involved with the inland waterways and boating since my early teens (over 30 years, where has that time gone!), working on trip and restaurant boats as well as hotel boats, traveling all over the inland waterways network of the UK. After a break away from the water for some years to pursue another career, when I entered my own midlife transition, I realised that it was time to come back home to the water and ensure this passion was absolutely a part of the next half of life alongside my coaching work!

I have the greatest pleasure to freelance for three amazing organisations on our waterways...

• Skippered boat trips and private charter with Boat Street, based at Mercia Marina Willington, Derbyshire

• Helmsperson tuition and coaching, narrowboat skills days, taster days and boat moves with Nautical Training

• Skippered day hire with wonderful Ashby Boat Co based on the beautiful Ashby Canal

I hold a RYA Helmsman Certificate and RYA First Aid Certificate (Cat C Endorsed)
