Welcome Aboard!

With over 30 years of experience navigating the UK’s beautiful inland waterways, my journey began in my teens, working on trip and restaurant boats as well as hotel boats. Throughout my travels across the country’s vast waterways network, I developed a deep love for the water. After taking a hiatus to explore a different career path, I found myself drawn back to what I truly love during my own midlife transition. It became clear—this was the time to embrace my passion and make it a central part of my life once again, alongside my coaching work.

Now, I’m thrilled to share my expertise with others, partnering with three fantastic organisations to offer a range of experiences on the water:

• Skippered Boat Trips & Private Charter with Boat Street, based at Mercia Marina, Willington, Derbyshire.

• Helmsperson Tuition & Coaching, including narrowboat skills days, taster sessions, and boat moves, with Nautical Training.

• Skippered Day Hire with the wonderful team at Ashby Boat Co, on the scenic Ashby Canal.

I’m a qualified RYA Inland Waterways Instructor and hold an RYA First Aid Certificate (Cat C Endorsed). Whether you're looking to learn new skills, embark on a leisurely cruise, or simply enjoy the tranquility of the waterways, I’m here to help make your time on the water unforgettable.
